Opportunity for Impact
Lacrosse continues to be one of the fastest growing sports in America. According to the Wall Street Journal “The states with the most popular programs are those where the sport has traditionally been popular. New York as the most followed by New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. But next on the list is California, with 110 high school teams and over 3,000 women’s lacrosse players. Over the last 7 years participation in youth lacrosse programs has grown 112% and participation in high school lacrosse programs has grown 116%. With strong growth rates at the youth and high school level the foundation is set for prosperous future for lacrosse. These numbers show the tremendous ministry opportunity that is at hand. The lacrosse community is growing at a rapid rate and FCA Lacrosse is poised to have a great impact on the lacrosse world.

Lacrosse Ministry Strategy:
We are accomplishing the Mission of FCA within the Lacrosse Community by uniting, equipping, and serving lacrosse athletes, coaches, and families. It is our desire for every player and coach involved with the sport of Lacrosse to have an “FCA Lacrosse Experience.” We strive to meet those in the lacrosse community where they are, show them Christ’ love in relevant ways, and challenge them to explore their faith while having a relationship with Jesus as Lord and Savior.
UNITE – We look to bring together lacrosse players of every caliber and age group across the nation, to come together based upon their commonality of 1) Having a LOVE for the game of lacrosse 2) Having an OPENESS to growing in their relationship with Christ.
EQUIP – Our goal is to empower every lacrosse player and coach to serve God as an Ambassador for Christ. Players are equipped through teams, camps, and other lacrosse community events as we work to develop “three-dimensional” lacrosse players and coaches who strive to fulfill their potential physically, mentally, and spiritually. FCA Lacrosse focuses on providing the best lacrosse instruction and overall experience while creating a fun environment that exposes them to Christian Faith and Fellowship. Developing Christian character is an essential ingredient to FCA Lacrosse.
SERVE – It is our desire to assist the lacrosse community with the practical love of Jesus Christ. FCA Lacrosse want to destroy the preconceived ideas that many people have about lacrosse players. We want to serve the lacrosse community in any way we can. Jesus said that they would know that we are his disciples if we love one another. As we interact with the lacrosse community we want to be God's loving hand extended to see lives transformed.
